Thought to try my hand at this interesting book tag. I got the idea from this blog.
Great hardcover books for only $5! Shop now!
Author you’ve read the most books from.
R.A. Salvatore.
Best sequel ever.
Stephen King‘s “The Regulators“ was a nice spin-off, flip-side or sequel to “Desperation“.
Currently reading.
“Heir of Novron” by Michael J. Sullivan.
Drink of choice while reading.
Strong, black coffee. Tons of it.
E-reader or physical book?
Nothing will ever replace a real, physical book for me. The convenience of an e-reader though cannot be ignored this day in age with as much as work has demanded me to travel. Oftentimes up to 100% of the time. If cast to a desert island I would definitely choose a real book though (and a plastic bag to protect it haha). That feel, smell (don’t act like you don’t love the smell of a book), and heft of a real book just cannot be ignored.
Fictional character you probably would have actually dated (or wanted to) in high school.
Cherry Valance from S.E. Hinton‘s “The Outsiders”
Glad you gave this book a chance.
“The Descent” by Jeff Long.
Hidden gem book.
“The Talisman” by Stephen King and Peter Straub.
Important, moment, in your reading life.
First, encounter with the Dragonlance Chronicles. “Dragons of Autumn Twilight” taught me how to dream.
Just finished.
“Spirit Thief” by Rachel Aaron. Have a look at my review here.
Kinds of books you won’t read.
Cannot honestly answer this question. I have been known to and will read pretty much anything.

Major book hangover because of.
“Duma Key” by Stephen King.

Preferred place to read:
Anywhere outside in natural light.
Quotes that inspire you.
“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek” -Joseph Cambell.
Reading regret:
Did not finish Terry Goodkind‘s “The Sword of Truth” series.
Series you started and need to finish (all books are out in the series).
Definitely the whole “Malazan Book of the Fallen” series by Steven Erikson. Such an enormous, well-designed world to get lost in.
Three of your all-time favorite books.
“The Name of the Wind” by Patrick Rothfuss (here is a post where I touch on this book), “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton and “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Unapologetic fanboy for:
Drizzt and company (especially Artemis Entreri) from R.A. Salvatore‘s incredible imagination. I discuss Artemis Entreri a bit here.
Very excited for this release more than all the others:
Without a doubt”The Thorn of Emberlain” by Scott Lynch tops my list currently. Drooling. I discuss Lynch’s writing style briefly in this post and again mention him here as well.
Worst bookish habit:
Book shopping when I have plenty to read already. Well, maybe that’s not that bad!
X marks the spot: Start at the top left of yours shelf and pick the 27th book
“The Scorpio Illusion” by Robert Ludlum.
Your latest book purchase:
“The Spider’s War” by Daniel Abraham.
Zzz-snatcher book (last book that kept you up way late)
“Ticktock” by Dean Koontz.
I would love to see your A to Z Bookish Survey. Thank you for reading.
